March 10- 2017 - News Update - Ivan

From Woodville,TX to Onalaska at Livingston Lake

miles 54 total on trip 2506 From Sarasota, Fl 1107 miles

A few pictures of last night at their musical jam.

I got up at 5 am and headed out at 5;30 I wanted to get out before all the logging trucks came in the 3 miles .

I putted out real slow and what a mess still big ruts and I was plowing mud with the undercarriage of the tire rack just glad it was soft and no rocks . I got on the hard road and what a mess.

Headed down to pick up 190 west and stop at a gas station.

Number of people stopped and they all said I know were you stayed last night at Triple Creek RV park its beautiful after you get there.

I went through Woodville and outside of town their was a car wash I pulled in and got a lot off but it still needs more washing at least Johnabilt looks presentable.

So the Rooster and Johnabilt pulled Smiley through the mud I am sure I could hear screaming in the back but the main thing is we didn’t hurt anything and we are safe.

I kept on putting all morning had a short day stopped in Livingston, TX and got some groceries and got something warm to eat I felt so much better.

Coming out of town and all morning had people honking and passing me and taking videos hoping they will all donate on the web.

Came to the town of Onalaska and found my KOA camp grounds what a difference, as you can see by a lake and I pulled in at the office and I ask for a night and the gentleman said. I think we are full my heart drop and than he asked is that you out their with the tractor. I said yes and he replied we will find you something and no charge.

What a difference from yesterday and this is a high class place and clean, even has a restaurant on the place which I will be getting a warm meal.

I was hoping I could wash my rig but you can’t and it is raining. I cleaned inside of the cab out and check the oil .

Just got back from eating at the Farm House resterant had blacken chicken mash potatoes and green beans and I fill so much better even have enough for another meal.
